    Description

    This position will run fromapproximately September to December for approximately 35 hours per week. Thewage of this position is $19.64 per hour. It is a hybrid work-location roleworking at the Conestoga College Waterloo Campus. .

    • Design, development, and/or testing activities to support the creation an augmented/virtual reality platform that can be easily extended/modified to support a range of demo projects in support of ongoing Applied Research objectives at Conestoga College
    • Additional activities will include assisting in gathering requirements, agile software development and software quality testing for the project and research activities as required

    Requirements

    • Application software design, development and troubleshooting using Microsoft technologies (e.g. Visual Studio on Win10 64bit)
    • Development experience in C++, C#, Unity3D
    • Familiarity with audio and graphical asset management in Unity3D
    • Track record of quickly adapting to new software technologies
    • Good communications skills; Collaborative approach to work
    • Familiarity with Agile software development and working to a weekly schedule with minimal supervision an asset.
    • Previous experience in the fields of education/training, healthcare or industrial manufacturing an asset

    • Please note that International studentsmust provide a digital copy of their Study and Work permits at the time ofapplying to a Work Study position.
