Warehouse Technician - Burnaby, Canada - Bayshore HealthCare
Description
Responsible for equipment and warehouse maintenance and fulfillment of client equipment and supply orders.- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Gathers supplies for orders in preparation for shipment/delivery and performs quality checks
- Assembles, labels and provides supplies as required
- Sign for orders delivered by courier
- Packs and creates labels for shipping
- Drop off packages to Canada Post daily
- Participates in quality assurance activities as directed
- Performs general housekeeping duties in the department on daily basis
- Files documents appropriately
- Participate in on going training required due to revision of Standard Operating Procedures
- Participates in Performance Improvement and Quality Assurance activities education programs and department/branch meetings.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working in a similar role is preferred
- Proficient in using different computer systems
- Other Skills and Abilities
- Organized
- Disciplined
- Intermediate computer skills
- Valid driver license and insurance
PHYSICAL DEMANDS- The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to prepare packages for shipment, use computer and other equipment and reach with hands and arms.
- Lifting required as per employee capacity, employee must notify Supervisor regarding any health issues that may affect ability to lift
- The noise level in this work environment is usually moderate
