Under the supervision of the Meat Department Supervisor, the Meat Wrapper wraps products in designated packaging and according to procedure and sanitation standards.
They arrange packages on display counters or self-service display cases for attractive merchandising. They weigh meat products and produces labels indicating weight and price of merchandise. They keep display counters and cases clean and organized. They ensure the cutting and wrapping area is clean and sanitized according to health and safety standards.QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED Education, Certifications and Licenses**- High school diploma AND some retail experience
Experience
- In meat wrapping
- In meat department operations
- In merchandising of meat products

This unionized position is open to all interested parties. Preference will be granted in accordance with the Collective Agreement.
