    Description
    Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools invites applications for the position of Registered Psychologist. This position is a 1.0 (full-time) temporary position, commencing August 26, 2024 to February 7, 2025.

    The psychologist will administer comprehensive psychological assessments and make school program recommendations. The incumbent will work closely with students, families, and school-based staff to plan effective interventions based on the student's identified needs.

    The successful candidate will:
  • be of the Catholic Faith
  • possess a Master of Education or Master of Arts Degree with specialization in School Psychology, Educational Psychology or Clinical Psychology
  • be registered with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists
  • eligible for a Professional "B" Teacher's Certificate
  • Preference will be given to candidates who:
  • demonstrate a commitment to a holistic approach to assessment
  • demonstrated an understanding and the implementation of cultural appropriate assessments
  • possess an understanding of First Nations, Inuit and Métis World View
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • an ability to collaborate and contribute within a responsive team
