Description
This position will begin immediately, Monday to Friday from 9am-5pm.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an accounting position
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting practices and principles
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook), with advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Data entry skills
  • Experience in Microsoft Navision considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Full cycle accounting (Bank Rec's, Accruals, Prepaids, Inventory, Fixed Assets, Reconciliation, etc.)
  • Accounts Payable processing
  • Daily Sales Report Processing
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations, including subledger to GL recs
  • Ensure integrity and accuracy of General Ledger for accountable entities is always maintained
  • Calculate and prepare cheques
  • Keep cashflow up to date and accurate.
  • Adhoc reports and projects
