How You'll Perform the Role


The Recruter is based on site at the Montreal East Plant and works closely with the HR Manager and Plant Manager.


Responsibilities:


  • Participates in certain recruitment, selection and hiring activities;
  • Management of agency employees (followup, absenteeism, etc.)
  • Participating in welcoming and integrating employees;
  • Assist the HR manager in the implementation of initiatives and projects;
Performs any other task assigned to him


What We Need From You

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in human resources management or equivalent
  • Good knowledge of MS Office suite software (Excel advanced level)
  • Fluency in French and English both orally and in writing
  • Be autonomous, responsible and conscientious
  • Initiative, highly proactive approach, leadership and good analytical skills
  • Great ability to adapt to a job in a dynamic environment where activities take place at a fast pace
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships of trust with various stakeholders, namely managers, staff and union representatives.
