What you will do


As a Digital Sales Manager, you're charged with driving the digital sales strategy and execution for our Mobility Go-to-Market campaigns.

As a bridge between our customers, your stakeholders and the broader digital team, you're responsible for evolving the online sales experience and growing the business by increasing digital-only and assisted sales.


Reporting to a Director of Mobility Digital Sales, you will collaborate with internal and external delivery teams to create market-leading digital campaigns & offers and drive optimal online sales experiences for our customers.

You'll fixate on new customer acquisition to capitalize on growth opportunities.

You'll obsess about the sales funnel and find innovative ways to improve conversion at each step of the customer's digital journey.


Here's how

  • Supporting a dynamic agile team of product owners, designers, developers, and testers in delivering on key outcomes for our customers and the business
  • Providing 1:1 coaching, professional development, goal setting and performance management
  • Building relationships and networks across multiple internal teams and vendor/agency partners to help deliver endtoend digital user experiences for TELUS
  • Ensuring good visibility on and interlock with our roadmap across stakeholders within digital, the rest of TELUS, and with our partner vendors to ensure we can maintain our momentum and ship fast
  • Consistently monitoring adoption and engagement metrics for the website, with specific outcomes tied to traffic generation and activation sales, and leveraging data to drive continued enhancements
  • Identifying and defining which emerging technologies we should incorporate to improve the customer experience and results

Qualifications:


You're the missing piece of the puzzle

  • Be highly organized with a demonstrated ability to delegate, monitor and manage highvolume workloads
  • Ability to influence a broad spectrum of stakeholders to gain alignment on product vision and roadmap
  • Ability to effectively solve problems, anticipate and assess risks, contingency plans and manage change in a complex environment
  • Be comfortable working with complex enterprise technology, with the aim of creating simple and effective customer experiences
  • Previous management experience (2+ years) and demonstrated ability to provide feedback and coaching to develop team members
  • Be a passionate selfstarter that can adapt and thrive when surrounded by ambiguity
  • Customerfacing product experience, including customer journey mapping, customer research & interviews
  • Comfortable building financial models and presenting business cases

Great-to-haves

  • Undergraduate degree
  • 5+ years experience digital marketing and/or ECommerce
  • Familiarity with TELUS product offerings
  • People leadership experience including performance management
  • Strong stakeholder management with the ability to traverse complex stakeholder landscapes
  • Ability to structure ambiguous asks and deal with conflicting priorities
  • Experience using Agile project/task management tools (e.g. JIRA)
  • Bias for action
