We are looking for a seasoned administrative assistant with outstanding communication skills.
We need a team member who is willing to go above and beyond to delight patients with best in class service.
The ability to multi-task, problem solve and think critically is imperative.- Has a cheerful disposition, is outgoing, self motivated and able to prioritize tasks in a fast paced, ever changing environment
- Possesses excellent communication skills, genuine care and compassion and a desire to help
- Is organized, detail oriented, self motivated and eager to learn with strong problem solving skills
- Is comfortable and proficient on the computer
- Is professional, well presented, reliable and mature
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Verify patient insurance coverage, including collecting and submitting claims
- Maintain electronic medical records and update patient information as needed
- Light housekeeping chores
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information to patients
- Assisting in the patient experience by preforming preexam diagnostic testing
Experience:
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
- Experience with front desk duties, including patient checkin and scheduling
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with patients in a professional manner
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment
