Quebec is the bridge between Chervon and the Traditional Trade sales channels and select key accounts in Quebec. A bond of trust and respect must be formed between the Quebec Sales Manager and the Independent Sales Representatives, the distributor sales teams, and customers in order for the Quebec Sales Manager to be effective at his/her assigned duties. _


_Key Job Responsibilities:
_

- _Manage sales development and the customer relationship directly working with Quebec offices of key accounts such as RONA, Patrick Morin and others,_
- _ Optimize business opportunities for Chervon brands in OPE Distributor/Dealer channel,_
- _ Provide supervision, sales training, and support of Independent Sales Representatives in Quebec targeting IC channel,._
- _ Work to optimize opportunities with Buying Groups, including Spancan, OCTO, ORGILL and others,_
- _ Develop product knowledge and work with Independent Sales agents to create an effective network of sales representation of Chervon in Quebec to service LBM channel such as Castle, TimbrMart,_
- _ Provide distributor sales training and assist them in acquiring new end use customers for Chervon products,_
- _ Assign, track, manage, and report Sales development in accordance with assigned Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) in Traditional Trade Channels and assigned Key Accounts,_
- _ Distribute and manage sales leads to sales representatives and assist in arranging business meetings with prospective accounts,_
- _ Work dealer and distributor shows, national and regional trade shows and meetings and events promoting Chervon products,_
- _ Manage time and travel schedule to provide the most efficient and effective productivity while managing costs,_
- _ Build long-term relationships with new and existing accounts,_
- _ Build trust and respect with internal and external customers by utilizing the utmost integrity,_
- _ Fully support Chervon brand marketing initiatives at the distributor and dealers level,_
- _ Provide channel feedback to Chervon with regard to product performance, marketing initiative acceptance and rival intelligence gathering._


_ Job Requirements:
_

- _Proven work experience as a Sales Manager or relevant role in the Hardware, Home Improvement, Outdoor Power Equipment or related industry,_
- _ Proven sales track record,_
- _ Strong experience with high level negotiations,_
- _ Excellent communication and people skills,_
- _ Excellent time management skills,_
- _ Willing to travel up to 60-70% each week,_
- _ Computer proficient; Competency in Microsoft Office Suite programs,_
- _ Experience in customer support,_
- _ Weekly call report submission,_
- _ Weekly expense report reconciliation._


_ Supervisory Responsibility:
_


  • This position will supervise the activities and effectiveness of External Sales Agencies/Chervon Sales Professionals,_

_ Required Education and Experience:
_

- _ A bachelor's degree in business or equivalent of seven to ten years of proven success as a Sales Professional with some Sales Manager experience,_
- _ Must have a background in building and successfully executing partnerships and sales preferably within the dealer and distributor environments,_
- _ Strong professional presence and demeanor,_
- _ Strong relationship and negotiation skills,_
- _ Appreciates and thrives within an entrepreneurial and private environment,_
- _ Familiarity with sales performance metrics,_
- _ Excellent communication skills with a customer service attitude,_
- _ Team management skills,_
- _ Strong analytical and organization skills,_
- _ Highly proficient in multi-tasking and operating efficiently, effectively and steadily in a fast-paced environment,_
- _ Strong intercompany collaboration/communication skills essential,_
- _ Prior experience in working within the tool manufacturing industry a plus._
