Ashfield's is a women's clothing boutique in the Village of St. Jacobs. We specialize in women's fine European fashion apparel. We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join us. This position requires Sunday shifts each week and occasional Saturdays in addition to shifts during the week. This role involves engaging with customers, and providing exceptional service to enhance the shopping experience. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for sales, and the ability to work efficiently. Experience in retail women's clothing sales is highly valued to better serve our customer base.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding items that meet their needs
• Operate POS systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Maintain merchandising standards and ensure product displays are attractive and organized
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
• Manage time effectively to ensure all customer needs are met efficiently during shifts
• Keep track of inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment as needed
• Perform small cleaning duties
• Maintaining complete tidiness of the store throughout the day

Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Product knowledge is an asset
• Experience in women's retail sales
