THE TEAM

The mission of the Sustainability Department is to drive responsible and sustainable product and operations to deliver value for people, the planet and Aritzia.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a unique contract opportunity to be on the team that is responsible for embedding responsible practices throughout the organization, in alignment with best practices for social and environmental impact and strategic priorities. You will work with our suppliers to ensure their facilities are operating in alignment with Aritzia's Supplier Code of Conduct and supplier workplace standards.

THE ROLE
As the Manager, Supplier Workplace Standards you will play a key role in:

Delivering Aritzia's social impact ambitionWorking with our supply chain partners to ensure their facilities are operating in alignment with our Supplier Code of Conduct and supplier workplace standards
Elevating the voices of our partners' people to cultivate safety, belonging and equitable access
Ensuring Aritzia's presence provides a positive impact to our supply chain partners, our partners' people and their communities
Ensuring human rights are upheld and respected throughout Aritzia's practices
Working with the appropriate Business Support partners to seamlessly lead the daytoday function of the department in support of corporate objectives, while enabling progressive career development and an incredible employee experience

THE QUALIFICATIONS

The Manager, Supplier Workplace Standards has:

Proven skills, education, and/or applicable certifications in:
Social compliance auditing throughout the full apparel supply chain
Social compliance audit frameworks and standards
International labour laws and labour rights protections and governing organizations
Human Rights, Gender Equity and Economic Security (including wages & benefits)
Communicating (written and verbal) in English and/or Hindi and/or Khmer and/or Sinhala and/or Vietnamese
The ability to collaborate fluently with crossfunctional partners
A commitment to quality and investing in results that add value to the business
Ability to travel internationally as required
