Job summary


Under the supervision of the Director of Finance, the accounting clerk ensures the complete cycle of receivables and takes care of the invoicing of one of our operating units.


Main responsibilities:


  • Receive and Process Vendor Invoicing;
  • Match invoices with purchase orders and requisitions;
  • Collaborate with various internal departments to ensure the accuracy of billing data;
  • Prepare and process checks and all other forms of payment on time;
  • Answer all calls relating to accounts payables;
  • Answer vendor enquiries and send statements of account;
  • Work within allotted time frames and set priorities to ensure deadlines are met
  • Keep accurate records and maintain organized filing system

Qualifications & Profile:


  • DEC or DEP in accounting
  • Knowledge of Quick Books and Sage 300 software is an asset;
  • Able to compute formulas in Excel;

Skills:


  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English and functional knowledge of French
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strongly motivated, organized and detailedoriented personality with the ability of working independently with minimum supervision as a part of the team.
  • Possess exceptional customer service skills
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a changing environment
  • Minimum of 23 years of relevant experience

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
From $17-18 per hour


Salary:
$17.00-$18.00 per hour
