Position Summary:

The Management Accountant - Manufacturing provides insights and recommendations to the Management team to optimize the manufacturing activities and overall company returns.

Main duties/responsibilities:

INVENTORY

Create procedures for inventory management in close collaboration with the Purchasing team.
Drive monthly inventory control and analysis: valuation, movements (root causes), slow moving, variances analysis.
Coordinate the yearly physical inventory and cycle counts.

PRODUCT COSTING

Review periodically the standard costs.
Perform monthly actual product costing and variances analysis.
Improve the systems and processes used for product costing.

BUSINESS PARTNERING

Support Plant Manager in building and implementing performance action plans (KPI).
Participate in and track cost savings initiatives.
Develop Capex and business cases.
Be a Business Partner for manufacturing departments: provide information, advise, identify profit improvement opportunities, support the requests.

REPORTING & OTHER

Prepare periodic site reporting, including financial information and dashboards.
Support with financial analysis of the Manufacturing Business Unit full P&L.
Collaborate with Manufacturing Business Unit General Manager to develop the annual budget and forecasts.
Support yearly audit requests.
Undertake other duties as assigned by the Group Chief Financial Officer.
