PHS Disaster Services DKI is recruiting a Full-time Project Manager with Xactimate experience to join our team. For over 20 years, PHS Disaster Services DKI has been providing exceptional services in Edmonton and the surrounding area.

The Project Manager is responsible for performing site inspections, documenting losses with accurate measurements, notes, and photographs with strong attention to detail; estimating the cost of reconstruction of the entire project using Xactimate; negotiating reconstruction costs with insurance carrier representatives; communicating with the Project Coordinator and Office Manager on issues that will affect the project schedule and/or budget.

MUST HAVE MINIMUM 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN THE INSURANCE RESTORATION PROJECT MANAGEMENT WITH KNOWLEDGE OF WITH THE EXACTIMATE ESTIMATING SOFTWARE.

Responsibilities:

Use Xactimate software to estimate residential and commercial water, fire, wind, asbestos and mold remediation projects

Negotiate restoration services and insurance claims settlements

Submit estimates in a timely matter determined by company requirements

Establish and maintain client relationships as well as relationships with insurance adjusters

Work closely with the Project Coordinator and Office Manager to ensure successful completion of assigned jobs.

Attend regular company-sponsored training sessions.


Requirements:

2+ years experience as an estimator in the restoration industry. Possess a strong construction background and can communicate with insurance adjusters that may have very little construction knowledge.

Self-starter with exceptional organizational and planning skills.

A leader with an ability to recognize and solve problems independently

Must be able to pass background check along with a clean driving record

Able to handle after-hours phone calls, work nights, and weekends periodically
