    Job Description

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Consolidates and reports all IT major activities (to be defined by the framework) across strategy, build and operational (including sustaining engineering) services and verifies compliance/continuity with Strategic Plan and/or Department Goals.
  • Define and communicate the Strategic-Plan key performance indicators (KPIs) to enable continual tracking of Strat-Plan progress.
  • Report and help prioritize the strategic plan activities with Office of the CEO
  • Representative of Technology organization to articulate status, objectives, and value benefits of Technology activities.
  • Identify and align similar / interconnected programs/resources to ensure accurate sequencing and efficient delivery of outcomes.
  • Establish, enforce, and manage project management engagement model, policies, procedures, standards, tools, templates, and gates.
  • Ensure the defined project governance aligns with industry best practices and trends through continual review and maintenance.
  • Evaluate, implement, and manage project management tools and technologies for effective project execution including Enterprise Project Management Software.
  • Oversee project governance to maintain consistency and quality across projects.
  • Facilitations project gates to track the strategic plan projects stage and progress.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management methodologies.
  • Qualifications

    Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, MBA or 2nd cycle degree would be an asset
  • Experience:

  • 5+ years in a management position in technology with experience presenting to Executive leadership.
  • 8+ years of managing large IT initiatives
  • PMP or other project management certifications are an asset
  • Knowledge of retail store operations and related business practices a plus
  • Experience in matrix team management and in the agile methodology
  • Other:

  • Unifying and mobilizing leadership.
  • Great decision-making and priority management.
  • Working knowledge of the techniques of systems analysis, design and development.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Autonomous strategist for the management of the roadmap.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
