Description

Reporting to the Manager, Registrarial Services, the Financial Aid & Awards Specialist, works independently and as part of a team to facilitate and administer support services to students related to financial aid at NSCAD University.

The Financial Aid & Awards Specialist supports loan processes for Canadian Federal and Provincial student loan borrowers and ensures compliance to funding authority regulations and policy, as well as established donor award criteria.

Key responsibilities include ensuring awards, scholarships, and bursaries are awarded based on established criteria in alignment with the Student Awards & Financial Aid portfolio's strategic and operational objectives and to ensure that government student aid is administered within the bounds of policy, regulation, and legislation.
