Job summary
We are seeking a permanent full-time Team Lead Finance Operations in our Finance department.
- Oversight over financial functions and work completed by a number of department staff including Accounts Payable invoices processing payments new vendor creation journal entries month end reconciliations payroll semi-monthly payrolls journal entries month end reconciliations Junior Accountant invoice processing payments tax compliance journal entries month end reconciliations Manage co-ordinate annual fee billing process co-ordination Registration Licensee Services occurs twice year Implement manage credit card other payment options efficient effective payment processes Co-administrate corporate Mastercard program Assist project implementations impacting AR AP Payroll required Ensure applicable tax regulatory obligations accurate timely manner Work finance team complete requirements annual external audit Provide guidance support staff day-to-day operational issues arise Act liaison IT personnel external system service providers update resolve accounting payroll system issues Work finance team compile reports needed financial reporting analysis Work finance team implement financial accounting reporting system upgrades integration LSIS CRM Identify implement process improvements within finance department Participate financial meetings cross departmental collaboration capacity building within finance team When required provide support AR AP Payroll functions under finance operations team Work Director Finance develop implement monitor Society's accounting policies procedures internal control procedures Perform backup duties Senior Accountant Director Finance as required Such other duties Director Finance may require frequent ad hoc tasks projects analysis
