The opportunity_

We are currently looking to expand our firm and are looking to add a full-time experienced manager to our team.

This role is an in-office position as we strongly believe in the benefits of a face-to-face learning and working environment for our industry.

Our advertised salary range is from $80,000 to $100,000+. Please note that our regular working hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00AM to 6:00PM.


Your day-to-day responsibilities

• Interact directly with clients and their staff
• Review and potentially prepare audit, review engagements and compilation engagements
• Review and potentially prepare working paper files for income tax returns for corporations, individuals, or trusts
• Communicate directly with CRA for client matters
• Provide guidance and support for the professional development of staff
• Manage a portfolio of client files and ensure their timely completion
• Responsible for correspondence and maintenance of relationships of clients in your portfolio

What we are looking for

• Designated Canadian CPA
• Experience with CaseWare and ideally Sage50 or QuickBooks
• Strong knowledge of Canadian Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE)
• Experience dealing directly with ownermanaged businesses
• Demonstrated ability to manage and monitor multiple engagements at any given time
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant public accounting experience
• Ability to build strong and meaningful connections with colleagues and clients
• Working proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese is an asset.
