Audiology services are provided in accordance with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC standards of practice. This role involves assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, implementation and evaluation to enable patients to achieve optimal health outcomes.

1. The audiologist will assess patient needs by reviewing records, gathering information through interviews and selecting evidence-based methods for assessing hearing status and functional abilities.
2. Based on the assessment findings an audiological diagnosis is established along with a prognosis indicating likelihood of improvement or stabilization over time.
