- Specific Duties:
- Supervise, guide, and coach operational staff.
- Monitor work quality and productivity, providing feedback for improvement.
- Ensure staff training, safety compliance, and work order efficiency.
- Manage work schedules, costs, supplies, and equipment maintenance.
- Make recommendations for improvements and emergency procedures.
- Skills & Qualifications:
- Grade 12 education.
- Journey Person or 4th class Power Engineer certification.
- Supervisory experience in Institutional buildings.
- Leadership skills and positive relationship-building abilities.
- Knowledge of building maintenance, HVAC systems, and safety standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance management software.
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver's license and ability to work independently.

Job Summary: This role supports the Facilities Services Team by leading the Grounds Maintenance, Power Plant, and Trades teams with autonomy and good judgement. Responsibilities include collaborating with staff, other divisions, and the College community to ensure high-quality service and project completion.
