PURPOSE OF POSITION
This position is the liaison between production control, purchasing and other management for project orders with the result being production orders released to satisfy customer and stock requirements.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting warehouse and service teams with work order prioritization,
- Ensure material is available for work orders, work order tracking through shipping and receiving and ensuring all required work order entries are completed by shop personnel in electronic systems.
- Coordinating with Warehouse Personnel to ensure timely receipt/issue.
- Collaborate with Purchasing Personnel in determining appropriate items to be purchased to meet delivery and cost requirements.
- Create accurate reports on work order material shortages, production inefficiencies, estimated work order completion dates, potential problem areas and work order entry discrepancies.
- Reviews sales orders, work order and/or purchase order requirements. Clarify any requirements and resolve potential equipment conflicts.
- Processes work order releases.
- Reviews inventory requirements as related to current order processing.
- Analyse and set inventory parameters (min/max)
- Provides material availability information in relation to projected equipment and component requirements.
Responsible for supporting all quality measures and procedures.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
3-5 years of experience managing warehousing preferred
- Must maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures;Ability to execute high volume production in compliance with safety standards
- Highly proficient in SAP Systems
- Problem solving skills considering multiple variables and solutions in a time sensitive environment
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Process thinkingability to link floor and system processes
- Demonstrates adaptability to respond to the needs of the customer with a clear understanding of the impact on profitability
- Proven ability to motivate and mentor warehouse personnel
- Must be able to exercise timely, good judgment in daytoday business decisions
Salary:
$68,552.00-$74,291.00 per year
