Your primary responsibilities will include:


  • Working in a challenging and collaborative environment with likeminded people who are eminent in their respective technical field.
  • Assisting with technical research, developing and documenting tax compliance and planning recommendations.
  • Preparing working files for tax engagements.
  • Working with clients, under the supervision of tax managers and partners, to obtain the necessary information to assess the accuracy and appropriateness of the records.
  • Investigating specific tax accounts assigned and identifying and resolving any issues.
  • Working on concurrent assignments.
  • Developing your technical skills and knowledge of our clients' business.
  • Preparing personal, corporate, partnership and trust income tax returns and associated information returns.
  • Assisting in the preparation of income tax.
  • Identifying client service opportunities.
  • Diploma or undergraduate degree in a related discipline (finance, business, accounting, etc.)
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Excellent analytical skills and creativity to identify problems and potential solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects with conflicting timelines.
  • Experience with MS office, CaseWare/CaseView,and Taxprep is considered a strong asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to effectively work with others in teams.
  • Strong commitment to professional client service excellence.
  • A keen interest in tax work.
