Tidal Energy Marketing Inc.

has an exciting and rewarding opportunity in Calgary for a NGL Scheduler in the Crude/NGL Marketing group This opportunity will provide fundamental and technical analysis reports to our NGL trading desk as well as our business development teams.

The NGL scheduler will also be responsible for providing price modeling/forecasting and will contribute directly to Tidal Energy's success.


What you will do- Work collaboratively with NGL Trading and Business Development teams to provide real-time, accurate information.- Coordinate with external counterparties to manage storage positions, rail/truck loading spots and inventory transfers.- Lead in the development and maintenance of analytical reports and models to aid and guide the commercial teams in both short-term and long-term planning.- Work collaboratively with mid/back offices to ensure consistency in price modeling and forecasting across the company.- Assist in the month-end analysis and reconciliation of actual margins versus forecasts.- Assist in the creation of presentations for internal and external parties, including senior management.- Any ad hoc requests as directed by the Manager.

Who You Are


Required:

  • Business or Science related degree from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 2 years prior experience, preferably with a commercial background.
  • Experience with energy markets and marketing environments a strong asset.
  • Strong analytical and strategicthinking abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail; able to develop and have confidence in complex models and analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

Preferred:

  • Comfort in team/collaborative setting; able to function in crossfunctional groups.
  • Strong selfmotivator; able to tackle projects and further them with only moderate guidance.
