  • Create an outline for the day, submit packing list to lab, prepare the room and supplies prior to the start time and cleanup afterwards, teach and demonstrate related skills, provide scenarios and answer student's questions, complete performance skill testing as required, submit any required paperwork to Continuing Education.
  • QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE
    Description

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Level II Dental Assisting Program.
  • Current License to practice Dental Assisting in Saskatchewan.
  • Min. 2 years recent and relevant (2 years within the last 5 years) dental assisting experience in a dental office.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of provisional crown principles and techniques.
  • Recent experience in teaching provisional crowns skills and/or a recent experience of performing skills in a clinical environment.
  • Effective computer skills.
  • Demonstrates valuing diversity.
  • Preference will be given to current Saskatchewan Polytechnic faculty.
