This position reports to the Planning and Fulfillment Director located in Varennes, Quebec.

As a Materials Management Supervisor, you will be responsible for activities such as inventory, shopfloor execution and ERP system management.

Responsibilities:

Materials Management
Creation, execution, maintenance & troubleshooting of SAP ERPs inventory and shopfloor parameters (KANBAN).
Oversees stock control and processing of stock requests. Resolves or reports any inventory discrepancies issues. Assures ERP data accuracy and control.
Leads inventory control & planning activities including the coordination of periodic stock monitoring and annual and/or cyclical physical inventory.
Analyses data to determine opportunities to decrease inventory, improve service levels and reduce total costs
Maintains and validates monthly inventory reports & key performance indicators
Warehouse and Logistic:
Supervises workers engaged in receiving, confirming, stocking, order filling and inventory control.
Plans and monitors the storage, delivery and dispatch of materials and keeps stock control systems up to date
Ensures that HSE guidelines and directives are implemented and understood by staff
Guides, motivates and develops subordinates within HR policies

Your background

College degree in Operations Management and Logistics or other related field with minimum of 5 + years of prior experience in a manufacturing setting working in a Materials Management role.
Demonstrated expertise in SAP Material & Planning Modules (MM, PS & PP), including all relevant planning parameters such as inventory controls, replenishment, warehouse management and procurement functionality in ERP.
Experience in lean manufacturing principles is an important asset.
Computer proficient and the ability to adapt to new systems and processes
Must possess strong leadership/supervisory skills.
Motivated individual with a cando, selfstarter, personable, and collaborative attitude
Ability to solve problems swiftly
Must be organized, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Customer service oriented
A high level of dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation
Bilingual French & English with verbal & written communication skills
