Habitat Restore is a social enterprise retailer that accepts and resells donations of new and used furniture, appliances, décor, and home improvement building materials.

All profits from our operations fund Habitat for Humanity Peterborough & Kawartha Region's local affordable homebuilding efforts.


Responsibilities:


  • Customer service
  • Product merchandising on the sales floor
  • Cash
  • Warehousing
  • Sales
  • Directing volunteers in various tasks
  • Accepting donations from the public
  • Processing donations and preparing them for resale
  • Other duties as required

Hours:


  • Fulltime; 3540 hours per week
  • Day shift
  • Must have flexible availability (ReStore is open Monday to Saturday 105 pm)

300 Milroy Drive, Peterborough


Qualifications and Skills:


  • Selfstarter
  • Reliable
  • Energetic
  • Friendly
  • Great customer service skills
  • Multitasker
  • Team player
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs often
  • Capable of continuous standing, bending, and lifting
  • Retail experience
  • Warehousing
experience an asset

  • Fullyvaccinated
  • Acceptable criminal record check
