In your role, you will:

Take ownership of technical problem solving with support from other departments;
Provide technical support to the daytoday operations of the production department;
Investigate root causes of problems and analyze potential solutions by evaluating the costs, impacts and risks of a change in production;
Be on the lookout for ways to improve manufacturing and fabrication strategies and take part in research and development projects;
Define, validate and correct assembly or repair and/or manufacturing specifications for the production of aircraft components;
Interpret or approve drawings and other documents from the engineering department;
Define the tools required for the manufacturing or assembly of aircraft components to ensure the required geometric tolerances;
Harmonize the implementation of engineering changes or assembly strategies by working closely with the engineering, material logistics, quality and production departments;
Ensure feasibility and plan changes requested by production and customers;
Identify opportunities to eliminate nonvalue added by optimizing production.

Qualifications

You have a technical college degree and/or equivalent experience;
You have experience in the manufacturing and aeronautical field (an asset);
You have 5 years' experience;
You are comfortable reading technical drawings, have a good 3D visualization and an analytical mind;
You have a developed logical sense and a mechanical mind;
You have an excellent team spirit, you are known for your perseverance and your judgment;
You are innovative and have a good decisionmaking process;
You have a strong customer focus and good interpersonal skills;
You are familiar with computer aided design software such as Catia, Enovia.;
You are familiar with one or more Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
You are fluent in French, both orally and in writing;
