Role Overview:
We are looking for Excavator and Skid steer/Mini Excavator Operators to help on our Earthworks and Base crews.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete pretrip inspection and grease equipment, daily
- Maintain equipment and report defects to foreman
- Ability to operate equipment in a safe manner
- Ability to put projects to design and on time
- Excavate subgrade and place gravel to grade
Qualifications:
- GPS experience is an asset
- Critical thinking skills to be able to work in a safe manner
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Communicate effectively in English following written and verbal instructions
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Class 5 license with reliable transportation
- Ground Disturbance level 2 is an asset
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Cell phone with ability to run B2W apps
