The Legal Services Department has an opportunity available for a Lawyer to represent the WCB at all court levels with a concentration in plaintiff's personal injury litigation and workers' compensation law.
FOIPP issues; human rights law; health law; employment law; administrative law; corporate commercial contracts; and general litigation.
Your experience and skills:
- Active member of the Law Society of Alberta with one to three years postarticling experience.
- Solid knowledge and interest in personal injury law.
- Demonstrated research, writing and advocacy skills.
- Superior decision making, interpersonal skills and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
- Original and innovative thinking to achieve desired results in legal cases is required.
- Travel to judicial centres throughout Alberta may occasionally be required.

$92,678 to $115,813 per annum
