Role Summary
You will provide architecture and technology leadership to Business Development teams as they develop end to end solutions, and integrations to services supporting our ever-evolving ecosystem, specifically in the Smartsheet domain.
You will have key involvement in building our initiatives and in providing expertise and counsel ensuring technology teams and business areas understand the architectural options and technology choices in support of their business.
You must possess a balanced mix of technical and business skills, as you will often work with business and technical leaders in the organization.
This role requires leadership and involvement in all stages of the solution definition, from the conceptual architecture creation to the solution development and definition, and even more specific areas depending on skills and interests.

Duties and Responsibilities
- As a central player within the project teams, facilitate solution definition within the company:
- Requirement analysis
- Solution Design
- Document solution
- Problem solving with the different teams
- Implementation follow up
- Participate in product selection when a new product or technology is required
- Participate in the development of standard & patterns definition with business development team
- Facilitate the research, evaluation, and selection of software technology and product standards, as well as the design of standard configurations.
- Help the decision makers define metrics to measure and demonstrate enterprise technology value and
- Liaise with the business and your team to review solutions
- Participate in the development of roadmaps & strategies. Make sure the goals of the business are aligned with the appropriate solutions and that we are making an impact and adding value for our organization.
- Act as a technical mentor among the development teams
- Document all solution architecture design and analysis work
- Assist in the development to define business vision and communicate to all stakeholders
- Collaborate with business constituents, team members, project teams and staff in various IT functional areas as needed to fulfill the responsibilities described above.
Technologies required:
- Experienced in the Smartsheet ecosystem or equivalent
- Demonstrated knowledge & architecture experience in:
- Architecture (micro / macro / monolithic services, apis)
- Service oriented architecture
- Event driven architecture
- Application architecture
- Distributed architecture
- Data architecture and modeling
- Integration patterns and best practices
Qualifications and Skills
- University Degree in Information Technology/Software Engineering or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated experience with modeling languages & techniques.
- Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies.
- Ability to understand the longterm ("big picture") and shortterm perspectives of situations.
- Strong technical background (platforms, languages, protocols, frameworks, open source etc.)
