Portal Village is a leader in Seniors Living, offering three levels of lifestyle options. We have been operating in the Niagara Region for over 35 years. Currently, we are looking for an individual to join us as a Housekeeping Attendant, who has flexibility. May also be required to work in laundry department.

Skill and Competencies Required:

Be capable of meeting the physical demands of the housekeeping and laundry positions
Ability to complete housekeeping duties as required.
Comfortable working with senior population
Perform duties as Laundry Attendant, if needed
Must understand infection control procedures and protective equipment
Be available to work weekday and weekend shifts as required. Be available to work shifts as required.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Be capable of following written and oral instructions
Effective time management skills with completion of duties
Ability to demonstrate commitment to resident care and provide help as needed
WHMIS trained
Be available to work hours per week
