We're looking for a Unit Manager to join our growing Trade Credit team

As a Unit Manager – Underwriting Support , your work will have a big impact on our Trade Credit group.

People will count on you for the overall direction and management of employees within the Underwriting Support Group.

People will count on you to provide technical expertise and to ensure a consistent application of procedures and and guidelines.

They will also come to you for your knowledge of the various systems including but not limited to our policy administration, accounting, and various internal and 3rd party support systems that we employ on a regular basis.

You will also be called upon to contribute to and support the management team and our Trade Credit operational performance targets.

This position is a full-time permanent opportunity based in our Ottawa, Ontario Office.
Manage your various direct report's performances by conducting performance reviews and career development discussions.
Ensure corporate objectives and policies are being achieved and maintained.
Implement, support, and lead projects in relation to the Trade Credit strategic initiatives.
Minimum four (4) years Trade Credit experience or any combination of training and experience deemed relevant for the role
Effective analytical thinking, planning, prioritization and execution skills
Excellent teamwork and team building skills
Advanced computer skills with Word, Excel and Outlook

Bilingualism in French & English is considered an asset as the successful candidate will have to interact with clientele and colleagues across the country.
