Job Description:


The Office Manager will manage the reception function, and ensure the safe and efficient running of office operations at Canada Goose Headquarters, 100 Queens Quay East.


What You'll Do:


  • Oversee all aspects of the CG leased facility, as well as coordinate team or vendors to repair or maintain all areas of the property including:
  • Mechanical, electrical, structural, plumbing, HVAC, fire suppression systems, aesthetics, finishing, millwork, office furniture (replacing or repairing), renovations, cleanliness, animal and pest control, supply management, general maintenance, ventilation, heating, cooling, etc.
  • Act as key liaison with building operations
  • Be the first point of contact in greeting both internal and external stakeholders and guests
  • Manage shipping/receiving, courier, and postal services
  • Oversee kitchen, and coffee services, as well as coordinate catering delivery for the site.
  • Oversee and manage office budget for operational expenses (OPEX)
  • Plan, order, and administer office and cleaning supplies.
  • Regular monitoring of Fire Alarm, Sprinkler and Fire Extinguisher inspections (Annual).
  • Oversee the local cleaning team, including the day cleaner and night cleaning crew.
  • Track and confirm that preventive maintenance is completed to standard.
  • Request all quotations and supervise work for all services required to maintain the property.
  • Coordinate waste management and recycling as well as Shredit bin pickup.
  • Participate as an active member of the Joint Health and Safety Committee.
  • Provide general status reports via Building Audit forms for all properties as scheduled (Monthly).
  • Monitor and Manage the ServiceNow tickets.

Let's Talk About You:


  • A minimum of 5 years, Building Maintenance experience with increasing responsibility in a Medium to Large facilities.
  • 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience.
  • Related experience in building maintenance and facility operations.
  • Able to think analytically to solve problems.
  • Positive attitude and selfmotivated.
  • Proven leadership skills with the innate ability to take initiative.
  • Time management skills; able to multitask in a changing environment.
  • Ability to manage a budget and strong negotiation skills.
  • Able to work well with a team as well as independently.
  • Ability to implement sustainable and beneficial change.
  • Excellent adaptably to working with executives, office staff, warehouse/manufacturing staff and contractors.
  • Knowledge of building codes and building materials.
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office, Windows).
  • Thorough knowledge of all building maintenance and safe operation practice.
  • Ability to read and write in English and to interpret basic mechanical, electrical and structural drawings.
