Bluewater Respite is a fast-growing respite care business.We are a pool of caregivers dedicated to providing a meaningful break to parents who have children and adults with complex special needs.
Bluewater Respite assists families by matching their child's/adult's needs to experienced caregiver's strengths.During this meaningful break the caregiver can either offer support in your home or take the child/adult into the community.
Parents have an opportunity to spend time with their partners, other children, run errands, or just relax.We are looking for a highly motivated individual with experience in administrative work to assist our team. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for a number of important tasks and duties such as;
- Data entry
- Accounts payable
- Accounts receivable
- Assist with client intake
- Update and maintain client and contractor information
- Prepare and assist with paperwork
- Answers the telephone and provides exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
- Orders supplies and equipment
- Attends meetings and takes meeting notes.
- Liaises with internal and external units to carryout job tasks.
- Assists managers and supervisors in developing policies and procedures.
- Maintains accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
- Solves problems associated with vendors regarding shipments, billing, and statements.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Administrative experience a major asset
- High regard for confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Effective with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Good in a team environment and individually
- A genuine care and understanding of our clients and contractors
Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent
Salary:
From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours:
per week
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:
- London, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
Experience:
- Administrative experience: 1 year (required)
