Senior Backend Engineer - eCommerce tech firm (Python, Django/Flask, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, AWS)

TekRek has partnered with a seed round, fully profitable eCommerce tech firm to find a Senior Backend Engineer.

In this role, you will use a modern tech stack which includes Python, a Python web framework (FastAPI, Django/Flask/Tornado), PostgreSQL, AWS.

Build services that help process customer orders for internal and external customersEstablish key design guidelines and patternsTake an active role in discussing technical design and architecture discussionsWrite clean code to develop functional web applications and reusable librariesJob Requirements:

Required:5+ years experience of progressive engineering experience2+ years using Python and Python web frameworks for building web applicationsStrong experience working with databases, specifically PostgreSQLExperience creating RESTful web servicesYou're a self starter, and don't mind ambiguityWhy Apply?While the company has more then 40 staff, the engineering team is small and you will be an early engineering hire.
