IT ASSET ADMINISTRATION - EXPERIENCED PROFESSIONAL

Manager - Information Systems Services

About the role


The IT Asset Administrator is responsible for several functions, including vendor management, contract management and renewals, budget preparation, analysis and monitoring, Reaffirmation of Rights process, licensing and asset management of both hardware and software, equipment lease renewals, invoicing validation, and processing and receipting for the information technology and process automation division.

Your day-to-day:


  • All facets of Vendor management including facilitating and maintaining relationships with IT vendors, participating in contract negotiations, Vendor selection, evaluation and selection processes.
  • Reviewing and preparations of Statement of Work documents.
  • Administration of information technology assets (hardware and software) and technical service contracts.
  • Administrating and tracking IT asset management systems including asset life cycle and inventory.
  • Maintaining supplier records, service level agreements and software license information and updates ensuring best value and compliance.
  • Development and enforcement of enterprisewide IT purchasing standards and procedures.
  • Receive and manage new equipment and software requests.
  • Verification of financial data including leased, depreciated or expensed items and monitoring and reconciling changes in inventory.
  • Manage all aspects of contract renewals with owning departments and vendors.
  • Validate invoices and create purchase requisition.
  • Provide management with necessary reports billing and compliance reports.
  • Administration of Reaffirmation of Rights process.
  • Gather requirements and respond to customer requests.

What you bring to the table

Job Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree or college diploma in business
  • 5+ years' experience in asset management
A valid G or G2 drivers license


Job Skills and Knowledge:


  • Knowledge of BMC Remedy tool and ERP business process management systems
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to influence decisions and interact with all levels of management.
  • Significant attention to detail, timeliness, accuracy, and skill to grasp concepts quickly.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience with management of IT contract negotiations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience using MS Dynamics D365 is preferred.
