Aspire for Higher provides several sports-based programs to youth in Gr - 8 around the Greater Toronto Area.

We are currently seeking Camp Counselors to work at our Summer Camps within Brampton from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.

The Camp Counselors will be responsible for coaching and leading activities, providing quality customer service to parents, and ensuring the successful delivery of a fun, safe and memorable experience for all participants.

Job Requirements

Working towards a Secondary School Diploma/College Diploma or University Degree
Must hold a valid Emergency First Aid/CPR B Certification
Previous experience working with children is an asset
Previous experience playing basketball, soccer or football at a competitive level is an asset
Employment offer is conditional upon receipt of a Criminal Record Search
Vulnerable Sector Screening

Job responsibilities

To ensure supervision of campers at all times and provide a safe and enjoyable experience by adhering to all safety and emergency procedures.
To provide quality customer service to campers, volunteers and parents
To conduct safety checks of program equipment and facilities daily. Reporting anything that impacts the quality and safe delivery of the program in a timely manner.
Work both independently and in a team environment to complete assigned tasks
To perform other related duties as assigned.

Pay:
$15.50-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:
