    We currently have an opportunity for an Administrative Clerk at our Richardson Pioneer Ag Business Centre located in Maple Creek, SK.

    ADMINISTRATIVE CLERK\r

    This position is responsible for handling customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.

    This role requires regular and ongoing direct contact with customers in the delivery of high quality crop inputs and/or grain services.

    \tReceives customers, answers their questions regarding product availability and commodity/service prices, completes order forms for order given and receives payments for sales made.\r
    \tOperates the computer and balances receipts on a daily basis.\r
    \tCompletes deposit slips and makes bank deposits.\r
    \tReceives orders from operations staff and customers via telephone, completes order form and forwards it to operations staff for shipment.\r
    \tMonitors accounts receivable through the use of current and aged computer prints.\r
    \tMaintains office files covering transactions made at the facility, also maintains records of staff.\r
    \tUnder the direction of the Manager, maintains a file of accounts payable and prepares same for payment.\r
    \tTypes letters, memos and reports\r
    \tUnder direction of the Manager, plans and sets up displays as required.\r
    \tCompiles and provides information on items such as stocks in store, product sales, prices, shipments and accounts outstanding as requested by the Manager.\r
    \tOperates a personal computer to support area staff.\r
    \tPrepares weekly stock reports.\r
    \tPerforms inventory spot checks and assists in crop inputs and/or grain supply cut-offs.\r
    \tMaintains and orders office supplies.\r
    \tOpens and distributes incoming mail and packages, and directs outgoing mail on a daily basis.\r
    \tReceives shipments of supplies, checks shipments for damaged articles, quality and quantity of merchandise received, and places goods in designated storage areas.\r
    \tRestocks shelves from stock room supplies and, upon approval of the Manager, orders stock which has reached a low level.\r
    \tDraws supplies from stock to fill mail orders and staff requisitions; packages and mails the shipment as required.\r
    \tPerforms necessary housekeeping duties.\r
    \tPerforms other related duties as required\r

    One (1) year of work experience in office clerical work. Computer competent, with demonstrated ability in the use of word processing, database and spreadsheet software. Grade XII or recognized equivalent. Must be willing to enroll and work towards the completion of the Agri-Business Certificate Program, or academic equivalent.\r

    Demonstrated customer service orientation. Knowledge of standard office record-keeping procedures. Proven knowledge of grain and/or crop inputs products/services and company credit policies. Demonstrated ability to meet and deal effectively with the public. Demonstrated ability to produce neat and accurate work.\r
