We are currently looking for an expert to solve challenges of all kinds, in the position of maintenance technician. Reporting to the zone supervisor, our new colleague will have the main duties of repairing and maintaining residential buildings. The technician will be called upon to travel on the road, with one of our well-equipped service units. You will seeyou will be surprised by the way we support and invest in our teams


Available shifts:

• Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 16:30 pm

Your Skills:

• Repair basic to intermediate issues of plumbing, electrical and heating systems. Repairs include, but are not limited to switches, plugs, fixtures, appliances, equipment, windows, doors, cabinets, drawers, toilets, sinks, faucets, ptraps, valves, vinyl/ceramic tiles replacement, plaster and painting, drywall repairs, etc.
• Use the company cellphone to receive work orders. Complete tenant's request and properly fill in the work ticket in the app. Diagnosing the problem efficiently is one of the main responsibilities of this position.
• Maintain a clean record of the material/parts used with each work order and add any material/part needed to the monthly order.
• Perform inspections and maintenance tasks on different types of building equipment such as pumps, motors, boilers, chillers, and generators; this includes performing various testing on equipment according to the schedule and reporting any deficiencies.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly inspections and liability/life safety checks, detecting and reporting any faulty operation.
• Communicate with clients and tenants politely and professionally.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management such as light litter pickup & snow removal/ice control.

Qualifications:

• Experience: minimum of 2 years in building general maintenance or in related fields such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, mechanical.
• Experience in emergency measures such as flooding and fire.
• Excellent customer service skills: being cordial and professionalism is mandatory.
• Constant demonstration of courtesy in all interactions with tenants and clients.
• Strong desire to solve the issues assigned through the work orders.
• Able to refer to the supervisor when the problem is greater than the level of skill required.
• Able to work efficiently with minimum supervision and manage multiple projects at a time.
• Must be selfmotivated, trustworthy, organized & a strong team player.
• Must be willing to follow strict procedures and contribute to their own individual evolution.
• Must have a valid Class 5 driver's license and a clean driving record.

Salary and benefits:

• Salary : from 20$/hr to 24$/hr according to experience, with possible raise after probationary period
