Company Profile

We are a group Family Medicine practice in west Toronto with a beautiful clinic and friendly doctors, coworkers and patients.

The core group have worked collegially together for over 15 years and are very welcoming to new hires.

Job Environment
This is a modern medical office in a secure building near St. Joseph's Hospital that is on two TTC streetcar routes as well as having free underground parking.

It has an open concept reception desk with plexiglass divider, onsite lab and triage area, six exam rooms, and large sunny office with kitchenette at the back.

The charts and most communication are computerized to minimize the use of paper.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
We require someone who is somewhat flexible with hours and available for some weekday evenings and Saturdays. Work-at-home and in-office shifts may be up to ten hours in length on some days. The hours per work week range from 20 to 40.

Venipuncture and lab specimen handling skills are mandatory. Injection experience and certification is not mandatory but would be a priority in hiring.

The job also requires telephone, computer and reception work, with a lot of patient interaction, so communication skills are highly important.

This job is most suitable for RPNs and laboratory technicians with OSMT / CSMLS certification.
