They are looking for a Administrative Assistant.


The Administrative Assistant is responsible for the provision of clerical support services to Agency staff and to assist other admin support staff as required.


Knowledge and Skills Required:


Responsible for providing secretarial services to supervisors of the agency, as well as those professionals and other staff assigned to respective units.

Responsible for the filing of electronic documents, a variety of correspondence, and reports.

Must be able to work in a team setting as well as independently.

Thorough knowledge of agency policies and procedures.


Qualifications:
Demonstrated computer skills with proven experience in database systems, word processing and accurate data base management.

Good communication skills, both orally and in writing.

Exceptional organizational skills.

Part-time hours: 35 per week


Salary:
$27.85-$28.31 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

  • Burnaby, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:


  • Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
  • Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
