What we are looking for:


To ensure our residents have timely access to a high quality, integrated continuum of musculoskeletal and spine care, the Central LHIN is seeking an experienced Coordinator who is able to navigate and manager multiple electronic health records system and serves as liaise in developing and maintaining strong relationship with our LINH partners.

Primary focus with be to streamline community referrals and ensure that they meet the intake criteria in accordance with the
Central Intake and Assessment Centres for Hips and Knees, other related joints and the Inter-Spine Assessment and Education Centres (ISAEC).

Reporting to the Manager, Surgical Services, the MSH Central Intake Coordinator will work collaboratively with Markham Stouffville Hospital, Southlake Regional Health Centre, North York General Hospital, MacKenzie Health, and Humber River Regional Hospital, Physicians Offices and other key stakeholders to ensure project success.


What you bring to the role:

  • University degree in Health Care, Business Administration, Social Science or related field; a Master's degree is an asset (or equivalent combination of education and experience);
  • Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience levels at an Ontario health care organization (hospital, LHIN, Community Health Centre, etc.)
  • Experience with accessing complex system
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Advance problem solving skills and business acumen
  • Excellent negotiation, conflict resolution and consensus building skills
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexible, adaptable and responsive to change
  • Selfdirected with an ability to organize, plan, prioritize and multitask
  • Demonstrated good attendance and performance records with the ability to maintain these same standards
  • Demonstrated commitment to a healthy and safe workplace for self and others (staff, patients, families, etc.) by taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with hospital related policies, health and safety legislation and best practices and completing relevant mandatory education as required
