Job Overview:

Frolic Expressions is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Interventionist to join our team.

As a Behavioral Interventionist, you will play a crucial role in providing support and guidance to individuals with behavioral challenges.

Your expertise will help create positive behavior plans and implement strategies to promote growth and development.


Duties:

• Work as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
• Collaborate closely with our team, our families, and the children.
• Support the program created by the team and the family.
• Keep accurate documentation of your sessions & progress.
• Receive mentorship by a Behaviour Consultant.
• Create a positive influence in the child and family's life.
• Collect data on behaviors and outcomes for analysis and evaluation and maintain accurate documentation of interventions and progress.

Qualifications:

• Clearance from a criminal record check
• Strong interpersonal skills with a variety of age groups
• Autism Spectrum Disorder specific coursework, training or workshops an asset, but not a requirement
• Knowledge of behavioral principles and techniques
• Experience working with clients who have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder or other developmental disabilities
• Familiarity with special education practices and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Proficiency in data collection and analysis
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Familiarity with medical terminology and medication administration is a plus

Requirements:

• Must provide a copy of a current criminal record check
• Consistent availability is required
• Willing to drive clients
• Willing to travel in the lower mainland area
• Mus have a driver's license
• Must have a car
• A passion to work with children

Pay:
$20.00-$30.00 per hour
