Groupe Marcelle is currently looking for an Analyst, Insight Marketing - Innovation for a permanent full-time position.


Reporting to the Senior Manager, Market & Consumer Intelligence - Innovation, the Analyst, Insight Marketing - Innovation will support all different research initiatives to understand our consumers.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE

  • Design research programs, using most appropriate quantitative and/or qualitative methodologies, to identify business opportunities and to address business needs of GMI' brands and products.
  • Deeply understand the target consumer to drive a stronger relationship with our brands.
  • Conduct, analyze and present key findings/insights from primary research using licensed quantitative tools.
  • Conduct, analyze and present key findings/insights from secondary research using licensed quantitative tools.
  • Accelerate innovation via strategic project support, concept development, and by conducting thoughtful primary research.
  • Synthesize latest relevant trends from secondary resources to identify most compelling sources of changing consumer purchase behaviours. Share insights with broader innovation and marketing team on a regular basis.
WE WOULD LIKE TO MEET YOU IF YOU HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree in research marketing, sociology, psychology, or any related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in an Insights role within a B2C environment.
  • Track record of extracting key insights and translating them into workable recommendations.
  • Knowledge in quantitative and qualitative market research methods.
  • Experience in the beauty industry (an asset).
  • Experience with SPSS (an asset).
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Knowledge with Microsoft Office.

AND IF YOU ARE

  • Bilingual, English and French, both written and spoken as this position will require to conduct research and read documentations in both languages.
  • Excellent in oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to synthesize information from multiple, sometimes incomplete, data sources and to identify a coherent narrative.
  • Positive, curious, creative and innovative with the ability to energize and influence.
