    Knowledge/Skill Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience with creating Test Strategies, Test Plans and Project QA artifacts
  • 3+ years of Financial Institution Experience
  • Good understanding of SDLC and of Agile/Scrum software development process
  • Strong aptitude for learning new technologies
  • Ability to interact effectively within a cross functional team

  • The Senior QA Analyst will be required to create and execute test cases ensuring changes being proposed for our core banking and web applications are thoroughly tested with no negative impacts to existing functionality. The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing initiatives.
  • The ideal candidate would need to demonstrate:
  • High level of analytical skills to validate and address defects
  • Intent listening and excellent communicating when discussing and relaying ideas to QA, other business units, and the vendor
  • Excellent organization skill as incumbent will be required to work on multiple tasks
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills with the ability to respond in a clear, concise and professional manner to various organizational levels
  • Excellent inter-personal skills and must be able to work under pressure

  • Incumbent works under the direction of Manager, Quality Assurance or QA Lead for a particular assignment. The Senior QA Analyst will work with Product Owners to ensure all requirements are clearly understood in order to create valid and relevant test cases designed to identify failure points. The Senior QA Analyst will work to ensure all possible areas of change are addressed in their test plan and test cases ensuring a wide breadth and high quality of testing resulting in more stable applications for the business users and customers. The Senior QA Analyst will execute test cases to validate the technical changes and ensuring the validity of the results, accuracy and reliability in adherence to our policy and procedures and compliance standards. Provide regular and frequent updates including comprehensive testing reports to the project team at the appropriate level of detail to ensure that progress is measured and any issues are known, discussed, and resolved on a priority basis avoiding delays and cost overruns to projects Key Internal and External Contacts:
  • Incumbent will report to the Manager of QA
  • The incumbent will liaise with internal business units including Business Analysts, Developers, IT Operations, Project Management and Business Unit representatives
  • The Incumbent will interact with external parties such as vendors and consultants
