    Klohn Crippen Berger's Power and Transportation Group in Vancouver is seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Marine Engineer to contribute to marine, ports engineering, and civil infrastructure projects. Reporting to the Manager, Ports and Harbors, this role will focus on delivering practical and cost-effective engineering designs and construction solutions.

    This role will give you the opportunity to:

    • Develop detailed engineering designs for marine civil engineering projects, including port facilities, coastal protection structures, offshore platforms, and marine terminals.
    • Collaborate with diverse multidisciplinary teams of managers, engineers, designers, and drafters.
    • Serve as a technical resource and mentor to junior staff.
    • Prepare technical reports and fee proposals for clients.
    • Participate in site visits to gather project-relevant information.
    • Ensure project quality and implement improvements as necessary.
    • Generate regular project summary reports.
    • Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
    • Travel domestically and internationally as required.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
    • Minimum of 15 years of related design experience.
    • Professional designation with EGBC or eligibility to apply within the year.
    • Proficiency in structural engineering software such as AutoCAD, ETABS, SAFE, Mathcad, SAP 2000, STAAD, MIDAS, LS-DYNA, etc.
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
    • Demonstrated success in delivering port engineering or similar heavy civil projects.
    • Technical design experience and expertise in reinforced concrete, structural steel, piled/other foundations and earthworks, and competency in marine design, seismic design and analysis.
    • Ability to comprehend cross-disciplinary design aspects and effectively interface within a multi-disciplinary project team.
    • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, and strong report writing capabilities.

    The salary for this position is $120,000 to $180,000/year. Salary is based on applicable experience, education, and skill level. In addition to salary, total rewards include:
