What You'll Be Doing

  • Supervise project execution from a technical standpoint to ensure projects meet schedule, quality, and cost goals.
  • Guide and support teams, emphasizing excellence and fostering positive stakeholder relationships built on trust, integrity, and respect.
  • Oversee work assignments, conduct performance assessments, administer rewards, and discipline, and manage conflict resolution.
  • Efficiently coordinate work schedules and facilitate interdepartmental communications.
  • Provide valuable guidance during design reviews to enhance product quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide advice on staffing, conduct interviews, and perform technical screening during the hiring process.
  • Establish and enforce processes and standards, driving continuous improvement in project practices.
  • Develop and execute team members' development plans and performance reviews.
  • Foster an open and collaborative environment, encouraging idea exchange and boosting employee engagement by promoting organizational values and facilitating regular communication through meetings.
  • Play an active role in both short and longterm strategic and budgetary planning, ensuring the company's strategic goals are met.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety practices and maintain a secure working environment.
  • Nurture robust and lasting relationships with partners, vendors, and distributors, showcasing dedication through the planning and execution of professional community events. Act as the company's representative at external events, traveling to meet with customers and partners to cultivate essential connections and contributing to marketing initiatives where appropriate.

You'll Be Great At

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully managing teams and projects to deliver results on time and within budget.
  • Strong technical proficiency in PLC programming, HMI/SCADA systems, Industrial Robot programming, motion control, and industrial networking protocols.
  • Detailoriented mindset with a passion for quality and continuous improvement.
  • Effective communication skills, encompassing presentations to individuals and groups, responsive question handling, and proficient report and correspondence writing.
  • Demonstrate sound business judgment.
  • Proven experience in control system design, development, and implementation, preferably in the automation industry. Capable of motivating teams, organizing, and concurrently managing multiple projects in a highpaced setting.

Key Requirements

  • Possess a degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Robotics and Automation or equivalent related industry experience.
  • Experience in a technical leadership role.
  • Full understanding of Industrial Controls and Safety Standards. Must be able to travel internationally.
