Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Handle a self-sourced portfolio while expanding activities across various existing customers.
• Engage with clientele regularly to ensure a seamless customer journey.
• Calculate costs for sales transactions, incorporating expenses like finance and logistics.
• Analyze market data to understand its impact on market movements.
• Report to the Trading Manager.

Key Qualifications / Experience

• 7-10 years of merchandising experience focusing on pulses products such as peas, lentils, chickpeas, and plant proteins (including pea protein concentrates and isolates).
• Established relationships with potential customers in the US food market, including food manufacturers and wholesalers.
• In-depth knowledge of market trends, segmentation, and pricing for various products.
• Proficient in marketing and product positioning strategies to maximize trade values.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
