WE ARE HIRING "ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR"
Position Summary
As the Accounting Supervisor, your mission is to provide invaluable support to the Accounting Manager and CFO in maintaining accurate financial records, facilitating smooth financial operations, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
By diligently carrying out your responsibilities, you will play a crucial role in shaping the financial stability and growth of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Assist in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including processing invoices, payments, and customer receipts. Ensure timely and accurate transactions to maintain positive relationships with vendors and clients.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the general ledger, recording transactions, and reconciling accounts. Monitor and review financial data to identify discrepancies and address them promptly. (Example, cash daily report)
- Financial Reporting: Contribute to the preparation of financial reports, statements, and summaries for management and regulatory bodies. Assist in generating accurate and insightful financial analyses to aid in decisionmaking. (Example, Related party transaction report, Projected cash flow report, Liquidation report, Variance analysis report, Accounts details report, Balance sheet, Income statement, Cash flow statement, Accounts receivable aging report, Adjustment journal entry report)
- Data Entry and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and uptodate financial records and documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting principles.
- Compliance and
Audit Support:
Assist in ensuring adherence to financial regulations and internal controls. Provide support during internal and external audits, facilitating the process with accuracy and precision.
- Financial Systems and Software: Utilize various accounting software and tools proficiently to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency. (Example, SAP, Excel)
Education / Certification / License
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- CPA Designation or in progress.
Experience:
- A minimum of 34 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial roles, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Knowledge:
- Fluency in Korean is considered a strong asset.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or other ERP systems) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) is essential.
Competencies:
- Good written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and external stakeholders (including Korean).
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and take initiative to complete tasks proactively.
