Stittsville Kanata Veterinary Hospital is looking for a dedicated and skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team. If you have a passion for working with animals and providing exceptional care, we would love to hear from you

As a Veterinary Technician at our clinic, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting veterinarians with routine and emergency medical procedures
  • Monitoring the health of animals during and after surgery
  • Administering medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians
  • Maintaining accurate medical records and communicating with pet owners about their animal's health status
  • Providing nursing care for hospitalized animals and monitoring their recovery
  • A valid educational background
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • The ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
  • A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their wellbeing
  • Majority of cases are nonroutine helps you gain ample experience to become the best
